¿Qué significa Ultreya?

La palabra ultreya es una palabra de español antiguo que era usada por los peregrinos de Compostela cuando se cruzaban a lo largo del camino. Este saludo se realizaba para animarse, probablemente está derivada del latín “ultra” que significa “¡Adelante!”.

Ultreya al límite

Este proyecto ideado por Juan Ignacio Fernández tiene como objetivo recorrer los 1.000 km que separan Alcalá de Guadaíra, Sevilla de Santiago de Compostela en tan solo 4 días. Acompañado de otros 7 amigos entre los que hay un informático, un empresario, un bombero o una profesora de infantil tendrán que enfrentarse a un gran reto físico y psicológico.

Un viaje a través de la desescalada

El viaje se realiza durante los 4 primeros días de la desescalada de España siendo testigos de excepción del despertar de todo un país tras meses de confinamiento. El reto supone un descomunal esfuerzo físico y psicológico ya que deben completar 12 horas diarias de viaje en unas circunstancias históricamente nunca vistas. Ultreya al límite es una gran aventura que une el Sur con el Norte, promueve el respeto por el medio ambiente y lanza un mensaje de ánimo, superación y positividad.
